Arrival/Departure

Check in: January 1st, 2025 at 2 pm

Please arrive to Camp Mohawk County Park, located at 110 CR 193, Alvin, TX 77511 on January 1st at 2pm

For check in, please text Svetlana (281) 220 7599 to let her know that your camper(s) has arrived. If your child is travelling with the group, the leader of the group can call or text for the whole group. All arriving campers can go straight to Kickapoo Dormitory. If you arrived earlier, please don’t reserve your spot in a cabin until you were told so by your cabin counselor.

Check out: January 4th at 11 am

Please arrive at Camp Mohawk by 11 am to pick up your camper. Please let camp volunteers know that you are picking up your child.

Packing List

  • Twin-size bedding and pillow+pillowcase: The only thing provided is a mattress.
  • Toiletries, Shampoo & Conditioner, Body Soap, Toothbrush & Toothpaste Deodorant, Hairbrush/Comb 
  • Shower Towel
  • Reusable water bottle if you’d like. 
  • Several changes of everyday clothes for daily activities, including sports and crafts. No tee shirts with advertisement for beer, liquor, drugs, or sexual innuendo, or anything deemed inappropriate by staff, no low cut tops.
  • Undergarments and socks
  • Sleepwear
  • Laundry bag/bag
  • One or two set of clothes appropriate for church service – we will have two church services (Dress shirts and pants for boys, skirts/dresses, scarves for girls)
  • Sunglasses if you’d like.
  • Sunscreen if you’d like, the winter days in Texas can be sunny.
  • Bug spray if you want to use your own bug spray
  • Rain protection (a poncho or raincoat is ideal)
  • Comfortable footwear for outdoor activities
  • Prescription medicine if needed (make sure it’s in original bottles). If you need camp nurse to administer the medication to your child, please let us know.
  • Prayer book and small icon if you’d like
  • You may want to bring a camera and/or flashlight
  • Things you need for TALENT SHOW, examples may include musical instruments, paint and canvas, a brick for your karate performance and such
  • Cell phone- will be collected by cabin counselors and given for a specific need such as to call parents. Parents can call/text Svetlana (281) 220 7599 with questions or if they need to communicate with their child.
